Weighted blankets

one tool that i have found to be very helpful for me in stressful situations is a blanket and not just any blanket but a weighted blanket. for me if i were to describe it in a few words i would say when i have a Weighted blanket on me it feels like i’m calm or that i can finally relax when there is a million other things going on in that moment in time. to me it feels like i’m just stuck there and can’t move and it lets my mind clear. i use a 20 pound blanket that was custom made by a friend. and i love it. i sleep with it every night i can not image not having the blanket. the below photos are of my blanket

the Above photo is of me walking 2 miles with my 20 pound blanket to get it worked on to add some buttons to the bottom of the blanket because i find my self more often then not playing with the Polly pellets that are inside of the blanket while i’m going to sleep. i’m also getting a few extra inches added to the blanket since i like to pull it up over my solders to have weight on them while i sleep but at the same time like to have some weight on my feet while i fall asleep. and this blanket was just not made long enough for that. and because of this i have to sleep in the fetal position if i want to have the weight on my shoulders and keep my feet worm which i get shore after a while manly in my lower back and lower legs when i sleep in that position. i do like to stretch my feet from time to time but when i do that they get really cold because the blanket is not long enough and also the fact is that is the only blanket that is on my bed normally. because i love it so much and i also tend to have to fans on while i sleep at night my room tends to stay really cold at night

This photo is of one of my Naber’s trying my blanket he is always interested in my life and how i’m doing and when i told him about the blanket i had gotten made he wanted to try it out. so i brought it over and let him try it out and his comment was it is so heavy and that it weighed him down so much that he can not do anything else for the rest of the day. joking of course. he does a lot for his family. and i can tell you he really liked this blanket and just was interested in it
